This collective is known for resurrecting genre-spanning mixes with the likes of Rendie the Monkey. Next, MeshRadio’s favourite bastard child KidG is rocksteady, with a tribute to 80’s rock. Embrace it. Staying true to his funky house aesthetic, Small has become a trusted name and he again brings all the right vibes for Fixation.
On a similar busted vibe, but with a warmer, minimal approach comes our sista, Debbie Chia. Local beatmakers - hip hop DJ Ko Flow and MC Garuda - make fusion a good word with rhymes, jazz and funk. Listen up for Garuda’s first ever mixtape. Along next comes cyber-hippie Raeburn, with a swinging mid-tempo feel. A strictly off-peak-time route.
Day three starts with Mugic’s sensation Uly, with a mutant strain of deep house and chilly, breathy layers of downtempo.
