Thank you for joining us in the last year, through over 200 shows of MeshRadio goodness. Incredible isn’t it? MeshRadio’s family has played a massive role in popularizing genres and introducing thousands to amazing, tasteful music. It’s something we are enormously proud of. It sure does fellow MeshRadio heads! Our newly formed TNL mainstays, Josh and Kenneth, are no strangers to you by now. This creatively ambitious duo double-up duties on Fixation this Sunday, proving to be one of the favorite “internet emcees”. Along the Fixation trail, we welcome back the mad Frenchman, J.B, for another flood of personality-free electronic house musique. On a slightly dark and deeper note, we’ve got giant residents from Stereolab, Brendan P and Godwin P. The two Ps deliver enough grit to make you feel uncontrolled energy lurching about like a beast untethered. Fear not, they are very nice fellas in person. 

It makes sense that KidG and Michael Dustdevil have tastes that encompass Jesus and Mary Chain and Tori Amos. The gathering of indie rock and old-fashioned melancholy on Taste is introspective. Dustdevil’s band member Michael somehow ensures that all elements fit into a mixtape. Thanks mate!

Though their name suggest otherwise, Hot-4-U is not a mandingo group, but a trio of steady guys from our ‘hood. The confusion is understandable, cos of the playfulness of their voice and the sexiness of their selection. Always fun and ultra cool, Uly marries the familiar with the futuristic, crafting socially lubricating party vibes. Once again, its Mugic style on MeshRadio. And Aresha of Various Assets teams up with our trusted bassnicks, Presha and Submerge, for a hi-octane, funk-driven Swing, centered on Drum n Bass and Dubstep. Swingers rejoice!

And lastly, we would like to present to you a brand nu show called BEATROOT. Showcasing their interest in worldly rhythms and jazzy hooks, Raeburn and Ramesh expand your mind along the lines of Afro-beatness, Latin jams, eastern-influenced riddims to traditional rural hymns. If you’re looking for a microscopic inspection of one narrow genre, head elsewhere…

Now, for a classic Kenneth F and Joshua P’s Thursday Night Live “Did You Know” moment…

Sauerkraut is finely shredded cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. It has a long shelf-life and a distinctive sour flavor, both of which result from the lactic acid that forms when the bacteria ferment the sugars in the cabbage. It is therefore not to be confused with coleslaw, which receives its acidic taste from vinegar. The word comes directly from the German language, which literally translates to sour cabbage.
